ABSTRACT
The implementation process of the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road Section 2B has
been delayed significantly. The work process for the 3.85 km Toll Road project
which should have been completed within 13 months starting from April 2018 has
not been completed until the end of April 2019. The critical path method can find
out critical paths, where a job from the project cannot be completed. postponed.
By analyzing the work that can be optimized in the Pekanbaru-Dumai Section 2B
Toll Road Construction Implementation project and analyzing the optimal
duration obtained after adding working hours on the Critical Path. The optimal
acceleration in this project is on the work of Maintenance and Protection of
Traffic, Environmental Management, Quality Management. With a change in the
total duration, namely with an initial duration of 504 days to 441 calendar days.
