Pengaruh Literasi Ekonomi Dan Kelompok Referensi Terhadap Perilaku Konsumsi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic literacy and reference groups on
the careful behavior of students at Muhmmadiyah 2 Vocational High School
Pekanbaru Jln. KH. Ahmad Dahlan No. 90, Kp. Malay, Kec. Sukajadi, Pekanbaru
City. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research, this research
was conducted at Muhmmadiyah 2 Vocational High School Pekanbaru. The type of
data used is primary data in the form of a questionnaire and secondary data in the
form of the number of students. The population in this study were 512 students and
a sample of 205 students. Until obtained using Isaac Michael's Table. Data
collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The
analysis technique used is Prerequisite Analysis Test, Descriptive Analysis and
Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results of the study show: 1) Economic literacy has a significant effect
on the consumption behavior of students at the Muammadiyah 2 Vocational High
School Pekanbaru, meaning that the higher the level of economic literacy will make
students more economical in shopping behavior, 2) The reference group has a
significant effect on the consumption behavior of students at school Muammadiyah
2 Vocational Middle School Pekanbaru, meaning that the closer the reference
group is in providing a reference in consumption behavior, the more consumptive
students will be in their consumption behavior. 3) Economic literacy and reference
groups together have a significant influence on the consumption behavior of
students in Vocational High Schools. Muammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This means that
the level of literacy, and the reference group together in influencing a person's
influence on consumption.
