Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dengan Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Di Lingkungan Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Riau
This study aims to see and determine the direct and indirect influence of competence and leadership on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable.
The population in this study is based on data recently obtained from Regional Civil Service Agency of Riau Province, it is known that the number of employees who are the study population is 169 employees consisting of 6 fields, namely the secretariat, the Division of Personel Administration, the Employee Development Division, the Employee Mutation Division, Legal Position amd Employee Welfare and Competency Assessment. In This study using a census sample technique where the population was sampled so that the respondents of this study where 169 employees. The data analysis technique used in this study was SEM.
The results in this study indicated the competency has an effect on employee performance. leadership effect employee performance. motivation effect employee performance. this shows that the better the competence possessed by employees coupled with the motivation within the employee to work better this will provide an increase in employee performance. Leadership effect employee performance through motivation. This shows that the better the leadership and fairness in providing jobs to employees, of course employees will be enthusiastic and motivated so that performance will be good.
