This study aims to determine (1) the development of the Padang Luai BUMDes
economic business unit, Kuantan Mudik District, Kunatan Singingi Regency (2)
The Padang Luar BUMDes strategy in developing the economic business unit in
Luai Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kunatan Singingi Regency. This study uses
the theory of David's SWOT Analysis (2006) this theory describes the Strength.
Weaknesses (weaknesses). Opportunities and Threats are applied in the
development of the Padang Luai BUMDes economic business unit, Kuantan
Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research was conducted using
qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Padang Luai, and
Treasurer of BUMDes Padang Luai Informants were taken using the purposive
sampling method. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and
documentation. Data analysis used SWOT analysis technique with a qualitative
approach. there are still several obstacles faced by BUMDes Padang Luai
including limited funds in developing new business units so that the businesses
that can be developed by BUMDes are only two business units, namely the
manufacture of compost and cattle breeding, but so far it can be done. see that in
the implementation of the two units the strategy for developing the economic
business unit of BUMDes Padang Luai using SWOT analysis resulted in an SO
strategy, namely the strengths and opportunities possessed by BUMDes Padang
Luai are very large and strong. The recommended strategy is a Progressive
Strategy, namely the organization or business entity is in prime and good
condition so it is very possible to expand or expand, enlarge and continue to make
maximum progress because in this situation the company or business entity is
very profitable because it has several strengths that can used to take advantage of
existing opportunities.
