Stabilisasi Gambut Menggunakan Geopolimer Hybrid Abu Terbang Dengan Variasi Molaritas Naoh
Subgrade is very important in road construction. Peat which is known to have low
bearing capacity and high permeability and compression need to be stabilized
before being used as a subgrade. Geopolymer’s made by mixing fly ash with alkali
activator and regarded as an eco-friendly materials for soil stabilization and
suitable for peat soil because its ability to resist in acid organic environment. Using
cement as additive in geopolymer can accelerate hardening process in room
temperature. This study aims to find the optimum composition of geopolymer hybrid
for peat stabilization by varying the NaOH molarity using the UCS test and to
examine the effect of hybrid geopolymer stabilization on the permeability and
consolidation of peat. Variations of NaOH used are 8M, 10M, and 12M with
Na2SiO3/NaOH ratio of 1,5/1 and curing period of 7,14, and 28 days. The highest
compressive strength value was found in the variation of NaOH 8M aged 7 days
with a compressive strength of 24,24 kPa. This variation has permeability value of
2,51x10-7 cm/sec and Cc (compression index) value of 6,10x10-2, Cv t50 value of
5,27x10-3 cm2/sec and Cv t90 value of 2,41x10-4 cm2/sec.
