Strategi Kesinambungan Operasional Bus Transmetro Pekanbaru Ditinjau Dari Aspek Komersial
Trans Metro Pekanbaru (TMP) has been operating since June
2009. In 2018 to 2019 revenue from tickets averaged ± Rp. 13 billion.
Vehicle operating expenses (BOK) ± Rp. 29 billion, so that the financial
management of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru Bus experienced a deficit of ±
Rp. 16 billion. The government currently provides subsidies of around
55% for the operation of Trans Metro Pekanbaru. Efforts to balance
income with expenditure in ensuring the operational continuity of the
Trans Metro Pekanbaru Bus from a commercial aspect need to be carried
out, along with the establishment of a regionally-owned company PT.
Pekanbaru Madani Transportation (Perseroda) which regulates the
management of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru Bus and its instruments.
The analytical method used is descriptive analysis by distributing
questionnaires and processing the validity and reliability test data using
the SPSS program. A sustainable operational strategy to increase revenue
is to provide a scenario of increasing tariff to Rp. 6.000,-/ trip, based on
the identification of ATP and WTP, as well as the provision of advertising
space on bus fleets, transit stops and bus stops. Financial analysis using
the NPV, BCR and IRR methods has a NPV value (Rp. 234.783.300,-) >
0, BCR (1.10) > 1 and IRR (6.14%) > 6%
(MARR), so the investment in the management of Trans Metro Pekanbaru
Bus be feasible.
