Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Dinamometer Arus Eddy Kapasitas 56 Kw
ABSTRACT
A dynamometer is a machine that is used to measure torque and rotation
produced by a motor engine or other rotary drive. The working principle of a
dynamometer is to rotate a shaft that has a disc located in a housing containing
an electromagnet coil. When current passes through the coil, it creates a very
large magnetic field in the disc, this will also produce a current that rotates in the
disc against the rotation of the disc, generating a torque between the housing and
the disc. Variations in current will make torque also vary. To produce torque and
power as planned, it is necessary to determine the diameter of the wire, the length
of the wire, the diameter of the iron core, the length of the iron core, etc. Based on
the results of the design and manufacture to measure a maximum power of 56 kW
were used wire diameter 0.75 mm, wire length 320 mm, the shaft used was graded
with diameters of 35, 44 and 45 mm, rotor and stator diameter 295 mm, diameter
of the iron core is 90 mm and the diameter of the pole shoe is 70 mm.
