Analisis Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Dan Pengembangan Sektor Potensial Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

ABSTRACT
The research conducted in Indragiri Hilir and Riau Province aims to find out
which sectors are the leading sectors and potentially the base sector, have a
competitive advantage or competitiveness and specifications in Indragiri Hilir
Regency, identify regional development strategies in the leading and non-flagship
sectors in Indragiri Hilir Regency. This study uses quantitative data research
model in the form of numbers. The data used in this study were sourced from the
Central Statistics Agency of Riau Province and Indragiri Hilir Regency. The data
used include GDRP on the basis of the constant price of Riau Province in 2011 –
2020, and GDRP on the basis of the constant price of Indragiri Hilir district in
2011 – 2020. Using three analysis tools, namely Location Quotient (LQ), Shift
Share (SS), and Klassen Typology . And from the results of this study obtained
results if the first economic sector namely agriculture serves as a base sector that
has a competitive advantage.
