Analisis Daya Saing Daerah Antar Kecamatan Di Kabupaten Kampar

ABTRACT
This research is aimed to analyze variables which influence and determine
the regional competitiveness of Kampar Regency in 2020 using Analytical
Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research uses primary data with
questionnaires and interviews with 30 respondents that consists of member of
Regional Board of People’s Representatives, Head of Sub-District, Head of
Assistant Department of Regional Secretariat Organization, National Unity and
Politics, Public Works Office, Manpower Office, Head of Sub-department of
Economic Assistant for Regional Secretariat of Kampar Regency.
This research consists of five variables, namely institutional, social politics,
regional economy, workforce and productivity, and physical infrastructure.
The results of competitiveness between sub-districts of each variables
shows the highest score of institutional variable is sub-district of Bangkinang
Kota 0,271, for social politics variable is sub-district of Bangkinang Kota 0,311,
for regional economy variable is sub-district of Tapung Hulu 0,367, for workforce
and productivity variable is sub-district of Tapung 0,483, for infrastructure
variable is sub-district of Bangkinang Kota 0,311. The result of the highest
weighting score between sub-districts is Bangkinang Kota with 0,98, and the
lowest is sub-district of Kampar Kiri Hilir with 0,19.
