Pembuatan Dan Perakitan Airframe (Fuselage, Sayap Dan Ekor) Wahana Terbang Tipe Fixed Wing Atha Mapper 2150 Generasi Ii
Abstract
In 2020, to improve the performance of the Atha Mapper 2150 fixed-wing, the
Mechanical Engineering flying robot team of the Universitas Riau re-designed the
Atha Mapper 2150. The research process for the second generation of Atha
Mapper has been completed at the design stage. The Atha Mapper 2150
Generation II used fiberglass composite material on the fuselage, while the tail
and wings used foam core composite material. The manufacturing process begins
with printing the two parts of the fuselage using the vacuum bagging method.
After it was finished, the two parts of the fuselages were assembled. Next, the
fuselage was painted. The wings and tail were made using foam core composite
material. After all parts of the airframe have been made, processed by assembling
all parts of the airframe. The fuselage, wings, vertical tail, and horizontal tail
have a mass of 700 grs, 554 grs, 90 grs, and 106 grs. These results show that the
mass of each part of the airframe of the Atha Mapper 2150 generation II meets
the predetermined criteria. Based on the measurement of the dimension of the
fuselage, the height has the highest error which is 6.9% (point 4), while the width
has the highest error which is 6.5% (point 19). Based on the measurement of the
wing dimensions, the width section has the highest error, which is 3.09% (point
17 on the right part). While the vertical tail, the wide part has the highest error,
which is 1.64% (point 1). For the horizontal tail, the width part has a highest
error, which is 1,73% (point 5 on the right part). These shows that the error of
each part of the airframe of the Atha Mapper 2150 generation II meets the
criteria which are below 10%, it is mean that it doesn’t affect the performance of
Atha Mapper 2150
