Potensi Dan Pergeseran Struktur Ekonomi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This study aims to determine potential sectors, sectors that have the
potential for competitive and comparative competitiveness, analyze basic sectors,
determine priority sector bases, and analyze shifts in economic structure in
Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. This study uses the variables of
Potential Sector, Competitiveness, Base Sector, Priority Sector, and Shift and
GRDP in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province.
The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central
Statistics Agency office in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data is the Gross
Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2010-2019.
The analytical method used is quantitative method and processed using Microsoft
Excel.
From the results of data analysis, it shows that the 6 sectors whose sector
growth at the level of the study area (district/city) is higher than the growth of the
sector in the reference area (provincial/national), the Dominant Sector and has a
comparative advantage are 3 and 1, respectively, The base sectors are 6 and 5,
respectively, the sectors that have competitive advantages are 9 and 4, and in 2010-
2014 there are 4 sectors that are in quadrant 1, in 2014-2019 there are no sectors
that are in quadrant 1.
