Analisis Peranan Usaha Ekonomi Kelurahan – Simpan Pinjam (Uek-Sp) Dalam Meningkatkan Pendapatan Masyarakat Di Kelurahan Simpang Baru, Kecamatan Tampan, Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at the characteristics and income changes of
respondents who borrow funds from the Village Economic Enterprise - Savings and
Loans (UEK-SP) in the Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, to
determine the role of the Village Economic Business - Savings and Loans (UEK-SP)
in increasing community income in Simpang Baru Urban Village, Tampan District,
Pekanbaru City.
The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data.
The population taken in this study is the Simpang Baru Village community who are
UEK-SP customers, totaling 65 people in 2019. The sampling method is using Non
Probabilty Sampling. Non-Probabilty Sampling is a sampling technique that
provides equal opportunities or opportunities for each element or member of the
population to be selected as a sample (Sugiyono, 2010), for the number to be
sampled using the Quota Sampling technique 50% of the population, namely 65
people in 2019 taken to be 34 person. The data analysis method used in this research
is descriptive qualitative. The steps taken are compiling questionnaires, distributing
questionnaires, analyzing questionnaires and making decisions. Quantitative is also
used to determine the results of research in looking at income. After the data is
collected, the writer analyzes the data and it will be described using a descriptive
method. Crosstab (cross tabulation) presents the data in tabulated form to see the
comparison of businesses managed by respondents before and after borrowing funds
at UEK-SP.
The results of the study show that: (1) Respondents who borrow funds at the
UEK-SP office in Simpang Baru Urban Village are people who have businesses and
or want to start businesses. (2) The Role of Village Economic Business – Savings and
Loans (UEK-SP) in increasing people's income, that there is an increase in sales
turnover, employment and business profits after borrowing funds to UEK-SP.
