Analisis Faktor Penyebab Pernikahan Siri Usia Dini Di Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

The background of the research was the occurrence of early serial marriages in
the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic that spread throughout the world, including
Indonesia. The increasing number of pandemic cases in Indonesia affects the
occurrence of early serial marriages, such as many children dropping out of school,
marrying off, getting pregnant out of wedlock, and of their own volition and on average
they are students. The formulation of the problem is what factors are dominant in the
occurrence of early serial marriages in Pujud sub-district, Rokan Hilir district. The
purpose of this study was to analyze what factors dominate the occurrence of early
serial marriages in Pujud sub-district, Rokan Hilir district. The research method is
descriptive quantitative with the research population is all couples of early marriages
in Pujud sub-district totaling 50 people. Sampling of early unregistered marriages used
purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments are field observations,
interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study the main factor
of early childhood serial marriage is "Mass Media" while the second factor is "Free
Association".
