Prospek Pengembangan Industri Rumah Tangga Keripik Singkong Di Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted on the home industry of cassava chips in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to determine the prospects or feasibiliy of the cassava chip home industry in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City in termsof non-financial and financial aspects. The types of data used are secondary data and primary with a population of 10 industries. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. The descriptive method used is reviewed through marketing aspects, technical aspect of produstion, as well as secial and economis aspects. Quantitatif methods are investment criteria such as Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results of this study indicate in the non-financial and financial aspectsthat the home industry of cassava chips in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City has met the criteria. Thus, all cassava chips home industry businesses in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City have good prospects and deserve to be developed.
