Upaya Indonesia Meningkatkan Ekspor Nanas Ke JEPANG Tahun 2018-2020

This research describes about Indonesia's efforts to increase pineapple exports to Japan, which is experiencing an increase in demand due to fruit production in Japan which is still relatively limited. The Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA) is a bilateral agreement in the field of trade and economy between Indonesia and Japan which is driven by 3 main pillars, namely liberalization, facilitation and cooperation. Since the agreement, Japan has started to import fruit from Indonesia, one of which is pineapple, which is now very popular with the Japanese people.
The writer collects data from books, academic journals, official documents, theses and sources from the internet related to research issues regarding efforts to increase pineapple exports to Japan. The writer uses the perspective of liberalism and the level of analysis of the nation state. While the theory used in this theory is the theory of international cooperation. The results show that the Indonesian government's efforts to increase pineapple exports to Japan can be done by understanding and complying with all pineapple requirements according to consumer preferences and the provisions of Japanese government regulations such as GAPs (Good Agricultural Practice) and FCP (Food Communication Project), government negotiations to government in determining import quotas and imposing import duty rates stipulated in the IJEPA agreement and actively increasing business networks with large super markets and various distribution channels in Japan by all Indonesian stakeholders to make it easier for exporters to enter the Japanese market.
