Analisis Kinerja Sistem Pendorong (Propulsion System) Pada Wahana Terbang Atha Mapper 2150 Generasi Ii
ABSTRACT
Atha Mapper 2150 generation II is a UAV vehicle developed by the Serindit Aero Mechanical Engineering team at the University of Riau in 2021 but data regarding the performance of the vehicle has not been obtained. This study aims to determine the performance of the propulsion system and the flying performance of the second generation Atha Mapper 2150 UAV, theoretically and experimentally. The study began by testing the static thrust with the thrust benchmarking system (benchtest) method. The highest thrust produced by the vehicle is 95.16 N (dual motor). The next step is to do a theoretical calculation by getting the cruise speed value at 50% throttle opening is 14.77 m/s and at 60% throttle opening is 15.44 m/s, the vehicle stall speed value is 13.2 m/s. s during cruise and 10.06 m/s when uphill, the ride speed uphill at 50%-60% throttle opening is 3.68 m/s and 3.90 m/s, the value of the ride's flight time at a throttle opening of 50%- 60% is equal to 66.2 minutes and 49.8 minutes. Furthermore, a flight test was carried out, the vehicle was flown using a 12-inch propeller with autonomous mode. The flight altitude is determined as high as 100 m with a climbing angle of 12°, and 0° when flying horizontally (cruise) on a straight track along 1 Km, back and forth. The test was carried out several times, with variations in the percentage of throttle starting from 50% to 60%. The parameters obtained from the test results are the rate of climb (rate of climb), stall speed (stall speed), cruise speed (cruising speed) and flight time (flight time). From the test results, the value of the ascent rate is 3.04 m/s, the stall speed when climbing (angle of attack 12°) is 14.6 m/s, the cruise speed that can be achieved by the vehicle at a throttle opening of 50% - 60 % of 16.77 m/s and 18.17 m/s. The flight time obtained based on the battery capacity at 50% throttle opening is 64 minutes and at 60% throttle opening is 53 minutes.
