ABSTRACT
Fish farming in Indonesia in the process of feeding until now more adheres to conventional cultivation by feeding manually by throwing feed by hand, there are several drawbacks when giving feed manually including the inaccuracy of time, this greatly affects the growth of fish, besides that when feeding too much fish will feel satiate and make growth getting worse, even the remains of uneaten feed will affect the water quality. The purpose of this study is to design and manufacture a fish feed ejection machine that can assisting scheduled feeding. By doing testing the performance of the fish feed ejection machine, the first calculation of the ejection distance, and the timeliness of the ejection, is then carried out to test the work performance of the fish feed ejection machine, especially on the AC motor and the integration of the AC motor with the Arduino program system, where Arduino acts as control over delay. timing and adjustment amount of feed to be thrown on the automatic fish feed throwing machine. The fish feed ejection machine moves automatically and scheduled by digital synchronization of the switch timer, so that it can help if fish farmers want to provide feed on time and produce a discharge up to 10gr/s and a capacity up to 10 kg.
