ABSTRACT
Research on lubuk prohibition as a form of local wisdom in Nagari Koto Bangun was carried out in June 2021 for two weeks at Nagari Koto Bangun, Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is a survey method, namely direct observation of the object of research, namely by observing the Management of the Lubuk Larangan Sosa River as a Form of Local Wisdom in Nagari Koto Bangun, Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. Local wisdom in Nagari Koto Bangun, Kapur IX sub-district, started from a group of people who held joint deliberation to establish a lubuk prohibition. Management of this prohibition pit is one of the conservation of aquatic resources. Lubuk prohibition is managed jointly by the people of Nagari Koto Bangun along with niniak mamak and also the traditional elders in the nagari.
