Analisis Bioekonomi Ikan Terubuk (Tenualosa Macrura) Di Perairan Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
Abstract. This research was conducted February 2022 in the waters of Bengkalis
Regency, Riau Province. This study was aimed to analyze the level of effort and catch
of Terubuk fish under conditions of Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), Maximum
Economic Yield (MEY) and Open Access (OA) and calculate economic rents and
analyze the level of Terubuk fish resources in the waters of Bengkalis Regency. This
study uses a survey method with FGD (Focus Group Discussion) activities, namely
conducting direct interviews and focused discussions on Terubuk fishermen. This study
uses a bioeconomic analysis with the Schaefer model approach. Based on the results
of the study, the highest efficiency was obtained under MSY conditions, namely hMSY
42 tons/year and EMSY 216 units/year. The optimum profit obtained in MEY conditions
is IDR2.601.532.551. The utilization rate in 2020 reached 64%, which is in moderately
exploited status, where the resources stock has been exploited close to the MSY value.
Increasing the number of fishing efforts is still recommended without disturbing the
sustainability of the resource. CpUE may start to decrease.
