Analisis Struktur, Perilaku Dan Kinerja Industri Paving Block Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the market structure, behavior and performance of the paving block industry in Pekanbaru City. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 10 respondents in Pekanbaru City. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis through the structure-behavior-performance approach. In this model, the variables used are market share, concentration ratio, IHH, CLR and PCM. The result of this research is that the paving block industry in Pekanbaru City has the highest market share of 19.672%. While the lowest market share is 2.961%. The paving block industry in Pekanbaru City has an oligopoly market structure. The conduct of the paving block industry in Pekanbaru City based on CLR calculations shows that this industry is a capital-intensive industry. And the performance of the paving block industry in Pekanbaru City is based on PCM calculations that profit is not influenced by market share strength. The average value is 57.53%, where the highest PCM value is 77.849% and the lowest is 37.954%.
