Hubungan Tingkat Spiritual Dengan Kejadian Quarter Life Crisis Pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir Universitas Riau

Abstract
Introduction: Quarter life crisis is a phenomenon that occurs in the age of 20 years which can cause depression and other psychological disorders, spiritual is referred to as one of the factors associated with the quarter life crisis.The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between individual spiritual level and the incidence of quarter life crisis in final year students. Methods: The research design used was descriptive correlation with a cross sectional. This research was conducted at the University of Riau on 224 final year students from ten faculties using proportional random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the Spiritual Well-Being Questionnaire (SWBQ) and Quarter life crisis which have been tested for validity and reliability. Simple descriptive test and chi-square test were used in data analysis Research Results: The most spiritual level of students is moderate, namely 148 students (66.1%), and as many as 193 respondents (86.2%) who experienced a Quarter life crisis. Statistical test results obtained p value (0.000) < (0.05). Conclusion: Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between spiritual level and the incidence of Quarter life crisis in final year students at the University of Riau. Researchers suggest students to be able to increase students' awareness of the importance of improving their spirituality both through themselves, others, nature and God in order to avoid mental health problems such as the Quarter life crisis.
