Agresivitas Anak Korban Eksploitasi Di Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru
Every child has human rights since they were born, so that no one can take
these rights, including their own parents, if anyone takes these rights, they will deal
with the law as stated in the Law on Child Protection No. .23 of 2002 Chapter III
Articles 4 to 19 concerning children's rights.
The purpose of this study was to determine the aggressiveness carried out by
child victims of exploitation, and the aggressiveness they experienced, as well as the
factors causing the emergence of aggressiveness carried out by child victims of
exploitation. This research was conducted in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, using
a qualitative approach and analyzed descriptively. Participants in this study were
child victims of exploitation who worked on the streets, totaling four children. Taken
by accidental sampling technique, using observation and interviews.
From the results of the study, it is known that the number of children victims
of exploitation in this study amounted to 4 boys, 3 children are still in school and 1
child is not in school. Aggressiveness carried out includes, verbal and physical
aggressiveness. Saying harsh words, ridicule or insults, and threats. Physical
aggression includes fighting, scratching cars, and damaging public facilities. The
aggressiveness experienced by child victims of exploitation includes verbal and
physical. Verbal aggressiveness, these children often get harsh words, insults, and
threats from parents, peers, and people in the neighborhood where they live. While
physical aggressiveness is, acts of violence from parents, fighting with peers, and
getting disturbed from adults. Factors that cause child victims of exploitation to act
aggressively come from within and from outside the children themselves. From this
research, the researcher wants to give advice to the social service and Pekanbaru city
government, BK teachers, and Riau University students who want to continue this
research.
