Implementasi Prinsip Good Governance Dalam Pengelolaan Barang Milik Negara (BMN) Di Lingkungan Universitas Riau

This research has a background in which the University of Riau as a
public institution has an obligation to carry out the management of State Property
(BMN). However, in its management, there are conflicts related to the status of
land whose ownership status is not yet clear between the Provincial Government
of Riau and the University of Riau. Derelict buildings that no longer have
economic value tend to cause legal problems as well as weak transparency and
accountability.
The purpose of this study is to explain how the principles of Good
Governance in the management of State Property (BMN) within the University of
Riau and what are the inhibiting factors faced in implementing the principles of
Good Governance in the management of State Property (BMN) at the University
of Riau. This study used qualitative research methods. Primary data was obtained
directly through interviews with key informants, namely Associate Expert
Archives / UHTL Coordinator, FPB / Household Sub Coordinator, BMN
Operator.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the principles
of Good Governance in the management of State Property (BMN) at the
University of Riau found that the management is still not optimal, which in the
implementation process the responsibility for land tenure at the University of Riau
is found to be still not good and the University of Riau is not good. in providing
clarity and completeness of information related to the use of State Property
(BMN) from the aspect of land rent.
