Strategi Pengembangan Koperasi Unit Desa Di Kecamatan Batang Peranap Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of village unit cooperatives in Batang Peranap sub-district and to find out what strategies are needed to develop village unit cooperatives in Batang Peranap sub-district. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population in this study were all KUDs in Batang Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, as many as 8 KUDs. The sampling technique used the census method. So the sample in this study were 8 respondents from the Village Unit Cooperative in Batang Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The type in this research is descriptive qualitative. Interview data collection methods, documentation. The analytical tool used in this research is SWOT analysis. The conclusion in this study is the results of the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) Table which contains the opportunities and threats factors which have a total score of 2.86 indicating that the company is in an average condition between adequate and ready to face existing opportunities and threats. Public awareness of planting oil palm creates a big opportunity for companies engaged in the FFB sales industry. While the government's policy on FFB is a threat factor that affects the company because of the policy of rising and falling prices of palm oil. In the results from the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) table which contains the factors of strength and weakness with a total score of 2.70, it shows that the internal position is strong enough to minimize existing weaknesses. The number of members becomes a force that is quite influential for the company because the number of members is increasing. Meanwhile, the business unit factor shows that this factor can be an obstacle to the company's development. Because, the company only has one business unit that affects the profits. Therefore, it is better if the KUD Batang Peranap sub-district focuses more on the FFB buying and selling business unit. These business units are very influential and vulnerable to external threats.
