The implementation of the abolition of official vehicle assets belonging to the Pekanbaru City Government needs to be carried out by the Pekanbaru City BPKAD in order to stabilize regional assets and manage regional assets properly. However, the abolition of official vehicle assets has caused several phenomena, namely there are still official vehicles that have been heavily damaged and have expired but have not been removed. Based on this, this study aims to find out: 1) How to implement the abolition of official vehicle assets belonging to the Pekanbaru City government and, 2) What are the inhibiting factors for implementing the abolition of official vehicle assets belonging to the Pekanbaru City government. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection methods using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the abolition of official vehicle assets belonging to the Pekanbaru City Government has gone well but has not been maximized. This is due to the inhibiting factors, namely weak document administration and the covid-19 pandemic.
