Suction snail (Cerithidea obtusa) in Tanah Merah District is one of the leading commodities. Since 2019 Suction Snails from Tanah Merah have been exported to Singapore and Malaysia. The wider marketing reach makes people more active in catching it. Moreover, according to exporters of sucking snails in Tanah Merah, the trend of catching sucking snails in Tanah Merah has also decreased, which is indicated by the decrease in sales of sucking snails in Tanah Merah. It is feared that this will disrupt the sustainability of the Suction Snail in Tanah Merah. This study aims to determine the sustainability status of the Sustained Snail in Tanah Merah District and the factors that most influence this sustainability. To determine the sustainability status of the Sustaining Snail in Tanah Merah, using the Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) method with the help of Rapfish. Based on the ecological, economic, technological, social and institutional dimensions of Snails in Tanah Merah dimension studied are the Fishery Management Plan (RPP), the number of fisheries management regulations, transparency in policy, democracy in policy determination, the existence of respected role models, local wisdom, legal counseling on fisheries resource management (SDP). ), frequency of meetings, time of catching, relative income of sucking snail catching business to UMK, family participation in catching, role of fishermen for sustainability, socialization of work in catching, number of households (RT) of sucking snail fisherman, level of conflict, environmental knowledge, involvement fishermen make policies, education level, security for fishermen, catching Suction Snails.
