Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (Tpt) Terhadap Kemiskinan Di Kabupaten Pelalawan

This study aims to determine the Effect of Economic Growth and Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) on Poverty in Pelalawan Regency. The data used is time series data for the period 2006-2021. This study uses the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method using the SPSS version 25 statistical program. This study gives the results that Economic Growth partially has a positive and significant effect on poverty in Pelalawan Regency. And partially the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) has a positive and significant effect on poverty in Pelalawan Regency. Simultaneously Economic Growth and Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) together have a positive and significant effect on Poverty in Pelalawan Regency. The value of Adjusted R-Squared in this study is 0.831, which means that 83 percent of the poverty level variable can be explained by the independent variables in this study, the remaining 17 percent is explained by other variables outside the research model. Suggestions to the Government to overcome the problem of poverty are to increase economic growth and implement policies in tackling unemployment which has an impact on the poverty level. In addition, the Government also expands employment opportunities.
