Analisis Peningkatan Kinerja Proteksi Petir Pada Saluran Udara Tegangan Menengah 20 Kv
Lightning protection system is an effort to protect an object caused by a lightning strike, where the protection system used is ground wire. This study aims to improve the lightning protection system on the louhan feeder by placing the ground wire in different positions and with different amounts of ground wire. From the results of the analysis obtained 68,32 flashover/100 km/year and 8,08 flashover/100 km/year without ground wire and with ground wire. Scenario 1 (1 ground wire is placed 1 m above the phase wire) resulted in direct and indirect strikes disturbance of 5,44 and 23,4 flashover/100 km/year. Furthermore, for scenario 2 (2 ground wire is placed 1 m below the phase wire) direct and indirect strikes disturbance of 6,61 and 16,7 flashover/100 km/year are generated. In scenario 3 (2 ground wires are placed 1 m above the phase wire) direct and indirect strikes disturbance of 1,02 and 8,12 flashover/100 km/year. Last, scenario 4 (1 ground wire placed 2 m above the phase wire) direct and indirect strikes disturbance of 9.33 and 26,1 flashover/100 km/year. The disturbance will be significantly reduced in scenario 3 (2 ground wires are placed 1 m above the phase wire) direct and indirect strikes of 1,02 and 8,12 flashover/100 km/year.
