ABSTRAC
Monitoring network devices is very important to find out problems or
troubles that occur in a network, such as the accesspoint used in the PT. Citra
Karimun Mandiri. If an unwanted problem occurs, the technician cannot
immediately take immediate corrective action, so it takes a long time to analyze
and resolve the problem that occurs for smooth and normal Internet access. In
previous studies using e-mail as a medium to send information to technicians, email
has advantages when configuring the routerboard, but has disadvantages for
the time difference between information is received by technicians, and is less
flexible. Telegram has the advantage of sending this information into the
Telegram bot which is received directly by the technician. For network devices
already using a mikrotik router as a local network controller, but not using
Netwatch, where through this feature network technicians can monitor network
devices or accesspoints that can be integrated with the Telegram application.
With this research, it can minimize the duration in terms of handling network
problems that occur compared to before its implementation.
