Pengaruh Karakteristik Petir Terhadap Terjadinya Back Flashover Pada Saluran Transmisi 150 Kv Menggunakan Atpdraw
ABSTRACT
Lightning is one of the main sources that cause failure in the transmission
overhead line system where the transmission system experiences overvoltage.
Lightning can strike a phase line if the ground wire fails to protect it and causes
the phase line to overvoltage. A direct strike on the transmission phase wire
results in shielding failure while a strike on the ground wire or tower can result
in back flashover which can lead to damage to the insulator. This research
studies the effect of lightning characteristics on the occurrence of back flashover
on a 150 kV transmission line, data analysis is carried out by simulating all the
parameters that have been obtained using ATPDraw software and then
evaluating the amount of overvoltage that occurs in each phase. The results of
this study show that the value of the overvoltage that occurs will be greater if the
lightning impulse current given value is also greater. Then, effect of lightning
wave characteristics with different wave fronts and fixed wave tails, the result of
overvoltage is that the highest value is at a value of (1,8 50) s, while for
conditions of fixed wave fronts and different wave tails, overvoltage results are
obtained whose values are the largest at the value of (1,2 80) s.
