Aplikasi Pupuk Hijau Kirinyuh (Chromolaena Odorata L.) Pada Bibit Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) Dengan Berbagai Tingkat Naungan
ABSTRACT
Cacao seeding is the first stage to prepare good plant material. This study aims to determine the effect of Kirinyuh fertilizer application at various levels of shade, the effect of different shade and determine the best shade for the growth of cocoa seedlings and the effect of kirinyuh green fertilizer and determine the best dose of kirinyuh green fertilizer on the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru from August 2020 to January 2021. The design used was a split plot with 3 replications, where the main plot consisted of shade density (50%, 70%, 90%) and sub-plots consisted of a dose of kirinyuh green manure (60 g per plant, 90 g per plant, 120 g per plant). Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf width, leaf chlorophyll, root volume and soil C/N. Research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's multiple distance test at 5% level. The results showed that the administration of various doses of kirirnyuh green manure at each different shade did not affect the observed parameters.
