Modifikasi Metode Sri Tanaman Padi Sawah (Oryza Sativa L) Dengan Ketinggian Permukaan Air Saluran 5 Cm Di Bawah Permukaan Tanah Yang Dipupuk Dengan Pupuk Kompos Sludge Pks
ABSTRACT
Rice is a staple crop in Indonesia which contains the nutrients needed by
humans, especially carbohydrates as a source of energy because they contain
reinforcing substances such as: carbohydrates, proteins, fats and vitamins. The
need for rice continues to increase along with the rate of population growth. The
research was conducted at BBI Pekanbaru Address, Jl. Kaharudin Nasution,
Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This research was carried out from May
to August 2021. This research consisted of five treatment doses of sludge fertilizer
using three replicates and using a randomized block design (RBD). The treatments
given were various doses of sludge consisting of 5 doses, namely: S0 = 0 t.ha-1 (0
kg per plot), S1 = 10 t.ha-1 (3 kg per plot), S2 = 15 t. ha-1 (4.5 kg per plot), S3= 20
t.ha-1 (6 kg per plot), S4= 25 t.ha-1 (7.5 kg per plot). Parameters observed were
plant height, maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, age of
panicle exit, harvest age, number of good grain per panicle, percentage of good
grain per panicle, weight of dry grain per plot, weight of 1,000 grains of good
grain.
The results showed that the application of sludge with a modification of
the SRI method showed significant results on the maximum number of tillers, the
number of productive tillers, the number of rice grain per panicle, and the weight
of dry milled grain per plot. Based on the research results obtained, the application
of sludge at a dose of 20 tons.ha-1 has been able to obtain good growth and
production of lowland rice plants with a modification of the SRI method with a
water level of 5 cm below the soil surface.
