ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of solid organic fertilizer with
liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of lokananta variety
shallots, as well as get the best combination of treatments. This research was
conducted for 3 months starting from September 2019 to November 2019. The
study was conducted experimentally using a complete randomized design (RAL),
which consists of 6 treatments, namely K0 = Control, K1 = Chicken manure
compost, K2 = Cow manure compost ( Terra compost), K3 = Chicken manure
compost + biotogrow, K4 = Cow manure compost + biotogrow, K5 = Chicken
manure compost + cow manure compost + biotogrow. The data obtained from the
results of the study were analyzed statistically using fingerprints or analysis of
variance (ANOVA) at a real level of 5%. The observed parameter is the plant
height (cm), number of tubers per clump (fruit), tuber diameter (mm), weight of
fresh tubers (kg), tuber weights worth storing (kg), percentage of depreciation
(%),and soil physics. The results showed that the application of solid organic
fertilizer with liquid organic fertilizer had an unreal effect on all observation
parameters. Composting the chicken coop with POC biotogrow tends to provide
better onion growth and production.
