Identifikasi Penyakit Yang Disebabkan Oleh Jamur Dan Intensitas Serangannya Pada Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)
ABSTRACT
The low productivity of shallots in Pekanbaru City is due to fungal
infections. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of fungi that
cause disease and the intensity of their attacks on shallot plants in Pekanbaru City.
This study consisted of 4 stages including sampling, collection and storage of
sample plant leaves with disease symptoms, isolation and purification of sample
plant leaves, Identification of disease-causing fungi. The results of field research
showed that shallot disease in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of
Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, namely Fusarium wilt disease caused by
the fungus Fusarium oxysporum, anthracnose disease caused by the fungus
Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and purple spot disease caused by the fungus
Alternaria porrii. The attack intensity of fusarium wilt was 12.8%, anthracnose
was 1.36% and purple spot was 1.4%. Microscopic identification results obtained
6 fungal isolates consisting of Fusarium sp, Collectrichum sp, Alternaria sp, two
isolates have not been identified.
