The Covid-19 pandemic began in late 2019 in Central China (Zhang et
al.,2020). The Covid-19 pandemic had a worrying impact on all sectors,
especially the economic sector. This study aims to determine differences in
Original Local Government Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Fund (DAU),
Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH), Economic
Growth, Unexpected Expenditures and Capital Expenditures before and during
the Covid-19 pandemic at Riau Provincial government in 2018-2021. The number
of samples in this study were 12 districts and cities in Riau. This study uses
secondary data obtained from the website of the Directorate General of Fiscal
Balance of the Regional Government. Analysis of the data used is a comparative
analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).
The result of the study shows that there are no differences in Original
Local Government Revenue and Special Allocation Fund during and before the
Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, there are differences in General Allocation
Fund, Revenue Sharing Fund, Economic Growth, Unexpected Spending, and
Capital Expenditures before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
