Analisis Pendapatan Dan Pola Konsumsi Masyarakat Kelurahan Simpang Baru Kecamatan Bina Widya Kota Pekanbaru Pada Saat Pandemi Covid-19

This study aims to determine the condition of people's income and consumption
patterns before and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Simpang Baru Village. The data
used are primary data where the data is obtained directly from the community through a
questionnaire where the sample used in this study was 382 respondents. The research
was analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method using the T test analysis technique
or a different test between conditions before and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on research results that the income of the people of the Simpang Baru
Village, Bina Widya District, has a difference compared to before the Covid-19
pandemic, where there was a decrease in income before the Covid-19 pandemic
compared to after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The pattern consumption of public after the existence of Covid-19 was different
compared to before the existence of Covid-19, where before the Covid-19 pandemic, the
pattern consumption of public was more food campared to non-food consumption.
However, after the outbreak of Covid-19, the consumption pattern has changed, namely
non food consumption is actually greater than food
