Interaksi Sosial Nelayan Di Kelurahan Hajoran Kecamatan Pandan Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Studi Kasus Di Kelurahan Hajoran, Kecamatan Pandan, Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah)
Abstract
This research was conducted in Hajoran Village, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province on June 20 – June 27, 2022. This study aims to observe the social interactions of fishermen in Hajoran Village. How local and foreign fishermen interact by cooperating in shaping culture and appreciating any differences. The method used is a survey method by conducting direct field observations, by collecting data through questionnaires. Respondents in this study were local fishing communities and fishermen from outside the area who work in Hajoran Village as fishermen. Fishermen who work in Hajoran Village are not only fishermen who are original from Hajoran Village or are called local fishermen but are from outside the area who work as fishermen, while fishermen who come from outside the area are referred to as migrant fishermen who have different ethnicities and tribes, including the Nias tribe. , Batak, Javanese, Chinese and others. The presence of migrant fishermen from outside Hajoran makes these fishermen have to adapt to their new environment. The social interaction that can be carried out by Hajoran Village is by how the community communicates with one another. The fishermen in Hajoran Village in communicating use their local language a lot, both with fellow local fishermen and outside fishermen, traders on Hajoran Beach, or people in Hajoran Village. Even with different languages in communicating and interacting they must still coexist with each other. This proves that they have long lived together and side by side.
