Aplikasi Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskular (Fma) Dan Dolomit Pada Medium Podsolik (Ultisol) Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.)
ABSTRACT
Podsolic has low fertility with has low pH, availability of P, Ca, Mg, and other macro nutrients impact to decrease productivity of sweet corn. The provision of AMF in order to support increasing nutrients, and dolomite as a source of Ca and Mg nutrients and increase soil pH has an impact on increasing other nutrients so as to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn plants needs to be investigated. The aim of this research was to study the main effect of AMF and dolomite and their combination on growth and yield of sweet corn on podsolic soil. The study was conducted in a 3x3 factorial form using a completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor of AMF application consisted of 3 levels (0; 15 and 30 g/polybag), the second factor of dolomite application consisted of 3 levels (0; 15.5 and 31 g/polybag). Parameters observed were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, percentage infected roots with AMF, male flower age, female flower age, harvest age, wet weight of stove, dry weight of stove, weight of cob husk, weight of cob without husk and number of rows of seeds per cob. Observational data were analyzed statistically, namely variance, further tested by DNMRT at 5% level. The results showed that the combination of AMF dose of 30 g/polybag and dolomite dose of 15.5 g/polybag increase in leaf length, weight of cob husk and weight of cob without husk that were higher than other treatment except for the AMF dose of 30 g/polybag and dolomite dose of 31 g/polybag.
