Analisis Usaha Ikan Nila (Oreochromis Niloticus) Di Kecamatan Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Abstract
The research was conducted from June 15 to July 15 2022 in Harau District, Lima Puluh
Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. The research location was determined purposively
with the consideration that the area is a potential area for tilapia cultivating communities. The
method used in this research is survey method. Survey methods are held to obtain facts from
phenomena and seek actual information in the field of fisheries, social and economics of a
group. Based on the results of research found in the field, the total investment of 2 ponds for
the Tilapia farming business group uses earthen ponds with concrete walls with an average
pool size (20x30 m) of IDR 98,775,960.08 and a total investment of 3 ponds for the Tilapia
fish farming business group using an earthen pool with concrete walls with a pool size
(20x30 m) an average of IDR 148,163,940.12. The feasibility of tilapia cultivation is seen
from the R/C value of the tilapia culture group with a total of 2 ponds and 3 ponds (1.28)
which means the business is profitable and feasible to continue, the ROI value of tilapia fish
farming group with a total of 2 pond units and 3 units pond (82) which means the capital
invested both in tilapia aquaculture business activities and for the PPC value of the tilapia
culture group with a total of 2 pond units and also 3 pond units (1.2) which means the capital
payback period is fast.
