Self-identity in the career field is a situation when adolescents know the abilities and interests they have, and are able to recognize opportunities that suit them, so they can commit to a choice of work. The research, entitled The Effect of Group Guidance on Increasing the Achievement of Self-Identity in the Career Sector, aims to determine whether group guidance services in the career field have an effect on increasing the achievement of self-identity in the career field in terms of exploration and commitment. The subjects in this study were 12 students who were included in the Identity Diffusion status where these students had aspects of exploration and commitment that were in the low category. Data collection method Questionnaire/questionnaire for achieving self-identity in the career field, after getting students who are included in the Identity Diffusion status, these students are then given treatment in the form of group guidance to improve the achievement of self-identity in the career field. The results of the study were obtained before being given treatment, students who were included in the status of achieving self-identity in the career field of Identity Diffusion still had aspects of exploration and commitment in the low category and after being given treatment increased to a high category in the aspects of exploration and commitment which were included in the status of achieving self-identity in the career field of Identity. achievements. It can be concluded that group counseling has an effect on increasing the achievement of self-identity in the career field in the aspects of exploration and commitment.
