Pencapaian Self Identity Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Siswa Di SMK Migas Teknologi Riau
Many teenagers today are still confused about their identity and are still looking for what role they are actually living in their lives, therefore it often happens that teenagers who are still experiencing a crisis of self-identity always question who they are which then leads to various aspects of life. Then questions covered schooling, sexual attraction, partners, family, beliefs, and so on. Long-term thoughts regarding their role in society and in the future, the future and their work and themselves are also one of the things that bring adolescents to achieve the highest status of self-identity.The purpose of this study was to determine the achievement of self-identity based on gender in students at Vocational High Schools seen from the aspects of Exploration and Commitment. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this study were 44 male and female students. The data collection is done through a self-identity scale. Then it was analyzed using the Pearson Correlation formula. The results of the high, medium, and low categorization of students' achievement of self-identity based on gender obtained 100% of the achievement of self-identity, namely the achievement identity of both men and women, with the achievement of high exploration aspects and also the commitment aspect. tall one. So the achievement of self-identity based on the gender of students in SMK is relatively high (100%) with the attainment of self-identity status, namely Achievement Identity.
