Hubungan Body Image Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Pada Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 25 Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-confidence in
class IX students of SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru City. This study uses a quantitative approach with the
correlation method. The population in this study were all students of class IX SMP Negeri 25
Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 160 students obtained from sampling using random sampling
technique. Then the data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the
study obtained a correlation value of 0.248 with a probability of 0.002, which means that there is a
significant positive relationship between body image and self-confidence in class IX students of SMP
Negeri 25 Pekanbaru City.
