Pengaruh Konseling Kelompok Behavioral Dengan Teknik Self Management Untuk Mengatasi Perilaku Membolos Siswa SMA N 12 Pekanbaru

Truant behavior is the behavior of students who do not attend school or leave school for no apparent reason. And in the end truant behavior becomes a phenomenon that interferes with the learning process, and it is feared that many negative things will occur as a result of this behavior if this problem is not taken seriously. This study aims to determine the effect of behavioral group counseling with self-management techniques to overcome student truancy behavior. The research was conducted on class XI students of SMA N 12 Pekanbaru. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design model. Subjects were taken as many as 7 students who had a high truant behavior category based on the measurement scale that would be given behavioral group counseling with self-management techniques. The method of data collection is done by questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistical analysis with the Wilcoxon test and Rank Spearman. Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be seen that there was a change in students' behavior before and after being given behavioral counseling groups with self-management techniques. There are differences in the level of student truancy behavior after being given behavioral group counseling services with self-management techniques as evidenced by Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. The influence of behavioral group counseling on self-management techniques to overcome truancy behavior is 68% while the other 32% comes from factors within the individual and the individual's environment. This means that there is a decrease in student truancy behavior before and after being given treatment, therefore the hypothesis proposed can be accepted by counseling, namely behavioral groups with effective self-management techniques to overcome student truant behavior.
