Ketersediaan Produksi Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Tuna Madidihang (Thunnus Albacares) Yang Didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Abstract
Samudra Bungus fishing port, this port is located in Bungus Bay, Labuhan
Tarok Village, Bungus District, Teluk Kabung Padang, West Sumatra. The history
of Bungus PPS began with the development and development project for oceanic
fisheries, or better known as the "Sumatra Development Project". SFDP found a
suitable place for collecting fish caught by fishermen. One type of tuna landed at
PPS Bungus is yellowfin tuna or yellowfin tuna (Thunnus Albacares) tuna is a
pelagic fish that inhabits the upper layer of oceanic waters, spreading into the
water column up to the top of the thermocline. This type of fish mostly wades
through the water column layer, and relatively rarely penetrates the thermocline
layer, but these fish are able to dive deep into the sea in the Indian Ocean
spending 85% of their time at depths of less than 75 m. The purpose of this study
was to determine the prediction of yellowfin tuna catch production and catch
production conditions in 2021-2025 and to determine the factors that influence
yellowfin tuna catches. This research was conducted in September 2021 at the
Bungus Ocean Fishing Port. The data taken are primary and secondary data. The
analysis used is Catch Production Projection Analysis, Quadratic (Polynomial)
Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that in projected catches,
production data for fish catches in 2021-2025 where predictions for the next 5
years will fluctuate or the production of yellowfin tuna will increase every year. In
the results of research on quadratic regression (Polynomial) the factors that most
influence the production of yellowfin tuna catches using quadratic regression are
the factor of the number of fishing gear with a coefficient of determination or R2
value0.9934and the number of fishermen with a coefficient of determination or value
R2of 0.9599.
