Abstract
This research was conducted in September 2022 which took place in Sungai Nipah Village, IV Jurai Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this research is to describe the development of floating net cages and the historical legality of the Koperasi Bangkit Bersama, to describe the role of the Koperasi Bangkit Bersama in the development of floating net cages in the social and economic fields. The method used is descriptive research method with qualitative and quantitative approaches (mixed methods). Respondents in this study were 37 members of the Koperasi Bangkit Bersama who were taken by census and and informants in this study as many as 6 people who were taken by purposive sampling. Technical analysis of data using qualitative-quantitative stages. The results of the research show that the development of marine cages in Sungai Nipah Village can be seen from the number of marine cages that have increased, the types of marine cages made from HDPE and the types of fish being cultivated. The historicity of legality can be seen from the establishment deed and NPWP. The economic roles of the Koperasi Bangkit Bersama in the development of KJA are facilitating obtaining capital, providing loans and providing production facilities and infrastructure. Then the social role of the Koperasi Bangkit Bersama in the development of KJA is to provide educational facilities to members of the cultivation group who join the cooperative, provide facilities for health checks, provide facilities and infrastructure for the needs of members, provide motivation and establish partnerships with outsiders, and carry out education and practice.
