ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of business risk, firm size, exchange rate and interest rates on financial distress. The population in this study includes all transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2021 as many as 52 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method with the number of samples that met the criteria of 40 companies. The results showed that business risk and exchange rate had a significant positive effect on financial distress. Firm size has a significant negative effect on financial distress and interest rates have no significant positive effect on financial distress.
