Gambaran Perilaku Depresi Antenatal Pada Ibu Hamil
Abstract
Pregnancy is an event that can cause stress. Instantaneous hormonal changes can trigger the occurrence of biochemical depression in pregnant women. This study aims to see a picture of antenatal depression behavior in pregnant women. This study is descriptive quantitative using a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a total sample of 97 respondents. Data collection techniques used the Edinburgh Postpartum/Perinatal Depression Scale (EPDS) questionnaire and the depressive behavior questionnaire. Results the study found that mothers who experienced antenatal depression were around 17.5% and the antenatal depressive behaviors most often experienced by mothers were physical behaviors in the form of somatic complaints 82.4%, psychic behaviors that were often experienced by anxiety 70.6% and social behaviors that were most often ritualistic activities 41.2%. During pregnancy the mother can experience symptoms of depression and her behavior can be seen from the physical, psychological and social. During pregnancy it is important to be screened to prevent depression which will have an impact on the mother and fetus if not treated.
