Komponen Keragaman Berbagai Karakter Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.) Terhadap Kerapatan Tanam
ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at the variability of seed development variables and yield components of several green bean varieties planted at several planting meetings. The study was carried out experimentally using a randomized block design consisting of two treatment factors resulting in 12 combinations and three replications, resulting in 36 experimental units. The observed characters included flowering age, plant height, harvesting age, fruitful pods per plant, number of pods per plant, speed of accumulation of dry matter, effective seed filling time, number of seeds per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed weight per plant, weight 100 seeds, seeds yield per m2. The data were analyzed for variance and continued with the Tukey test at the 5% level. The results showed that genotypes were significantly different for almost all traits, while variations in planting density only had a significant effect on seed dry weight 22 days after flowering, and dry weight at harvest. Half of the characters observed had wide genetic diversity and high heritability. Selection response varied, but high scores were obtained for number of seeds per plant and seed yield per m2 character. The yield of seeds per m2 in the regression equation is strongly influenced by four independent variables, namely the dry weight of 15 HSP seeds, the number of fruitful pods, the number of seeds per plant, and the speed of dry matter accumulation.
