Induksi Ketahanan Asam Salisilat Pada Bibit Kelapa Sawit Di Pembibitan Utama Dalam Pengendalian Jamur Ganoderma Sp. Isolat Lptunri-Gan003
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of induction of salicylic acid and obtain the best concentration in controlling basal stem rot disease caused by Ganoderma sp. isolate LPTUNRI-Gan003 in the main nursery. This was an experimental study conducted in April 2022 to July 2022 at the Laboratory of Plant Pathology and Greenhouse Plant Production Agricultural Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau, Pekanbaru. The study was consistss of 6 treatments and 3 replications, and obtained 18 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 3 samples and finally gained the total of 54 samples. The treatment tested was induced of salicylic acid with a concentration of 100 ppm, 150 ppm, 200 ppm and 250 ppm. The data obtained were analyzed by means of variance and further tested by the DNMRT test at 5% level using SPSS software. The results showed that induced of salicylic acid had a significant effect on slowing the incubation period of the pathogenic Ganoderma sp. isolate LPTUNRI-Gan003, and reduce the incidence and intensity of the disease. Induced of 250 ppm SA showed the best ability to suppress Ganoderma sp. isolate LPTUNRI-Gan003 attacks as indicated by the time of appearance of fruiting bodies (130 days after inoculation), time of first appereance symptoms (126.22 days after inoculation), low disease incidence (11.11%) and low disease intensity (22.22%).
