Analisis Pembiayaan Usaha Nelayan Skala Kecil Di Desa Tanah Merah Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau

Abstract
This study aimed to described the process of financing small-scale fishing businesses and analyze the financing allowance obtained by small-scale fishermen in Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This research was conducted in February 2022 in Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this study is the survey method, while the cost of respondents was calculated using the slovin technique. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, interviews, and documentation with small-scale fishermen, totaling 58 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis and descriptive statistical analysis based on a likert scale. The results of the research that have been obtained indicate that the financing of small-scale fishing businesses in Tanah Merah Village, Tanah Merah District, Riau Province is in the form of loans, which come from family, employers, and banks. From the three sources of financing, it was found that fishermen who borrow from families and tauke are suitable for small-scale fishermen. This is because fishermen can easily obtain financing from families and employers compared to financing from banks, which requires a lot of requirements and also collateral/guarantee, which is very risky for small-scale fishermen. For this reason, it is hoped that the local government can create a forum for small-scale fishermen to access financing, such as through institutions that provide financing with an easy process.
